I've read better and worse. It was okay but not up to top sellers quality. Of course, not paying top seller's price either.

Loved this second Quinn novel. Fast paced and enjoyable. Love the characters! Cant wait to read the next one! I highly recommend this novel!
I bought this after reading the first book. The plot is interesting and the characters likeable. It isn't a fantastic read, but it did keep my interest.
The Quinn Adventures are quickly becoming one of my favorites. This is as interesting as the first book with enough mystery and suspense to keep you wondering what is next. Good, wholesome read for anyone.
Some books have too much action that it overwhelms the book. This book has little to no action that it makes the book boring. I felt I was just reading about 3 Americans going on vacation who just happen to be looking for treasure. Where was the suspense, the thrill of the chase, the mystery? The characters spend a lot of time strolling around and enjoying great deal of food even though, hypothetically, there are bad guys on their tail. #Yawn#
I found the dialogue incredibly awkward and I found the characters laughable (and not in a good way).
Further, there is no character development so I don't really know who the main characters are or how they came to be together. There were references to an earlier adventure, which I guess was the first book. Because the author doesn't explain anything and I didn't read the first book I felt like I was missing a big piece of the picture. What is Rei' s background? Why are Mac and Gideon friends?
Overall I found this book disappointing and incredibly boring. Don't waste your time or money.
The second book by this author that I've read. Enjoyed the history of the countries mentioned in the story. Hope the author writes more adventures of the Quinn's soon.
